thinking about that journal made me want to make a list of the restaurants i would write in that journal if i were giving it to someone who would travel to new york for a gift. these are the first that popped into my mind at the moment...
1. lil' frankies- amazing italian food
2. sugar- cute small cafe with great gelato
3. cafe lalo- lovely desserts, also the location in you've got mail

moleskine journals hit an all time high
i kind of forgot to blog about this ages ago when i picked it up. it was maybe the most exciting after christmas purchase i made. it's a beautiful little journal, in true moleskine fashion, however it also has full nyc mta maps, area maps, etc. It also has pages to write down your favorite shops, restaurants, and museums, places you want to go, and thoughts on the city. it's amazing. can't wait to collect more and travel more.

i also wish i could go here...
this bakery is entirely made from recycled and earth friendly materials. they use wind power and all organic, natural ingredients in their food. sounds like such a cool place.
wish i could go to this...
what am i craving right now?
